Danjam Orchestra

The Danjam Orchestra will be performing 2 nights of live music at The Rex in Toronto. We will be presenting an eclectic program made up of new music, as well as Danjam Orchestra classics turned upside-down to feature different instruments in the band. I'll be traveling from DC for the occasion, and our friend John Riley will be joining the band from NYC on drums. Danjam Orchestra will be celebrating its 10th anniversary at The Rex in Toronto on August 6th and 7th 2018 (9:30pm start both nights). We will be playing material from as far back as 10 years ago as well as a brand new arrangement. I'll be traveling from DC for the occasion and John Riley will be visiting from NYC. It has been almost two years since my big band has performed live as my life has undergone a few major changes - including joining The U.S. Army Field Band as a Staff Arranger and moving to Washington, DC! Now that things have more or less settled, I am proud to announce that one week from now the Danjam Orchestra will be back at  The Rex  for two nights of live music. Come down to The Rex next week and join the Danjam Orchestra for our annual summer appearance in Toronto! The band will premiere my arrangement of Alex Dean's "Nice Guys" featuring low notes played by Justin Gray on the bass and Shirantha Beddage on the baritone sax. Other exciting firsts include: Tara Davidson's take on "Alone Together,"  Florian Hoefner's reimagining of "Song for Anna," and Alex Goodman's interpretation of "Phantasm."
