Sonny Rollins has canceled his appearance at the North Sea Jazz Festival. They are replacing his show with my Ballads Project. The music will be performed by the Metropole Orchestra featuring Joe Lovano! The great John Riley will be drumming and Vince Mendoza will be conducting! Sunday July 14th, 2013. I am thrilled to announced that another performance of my Coltrane Ballads Project has been scheduled! On Tuesday, March 12th 2013, Mark Promane's Humber "B" Big Band will be presenting an evening of my music featuring tenor saxophonist Alex Dean at the Rex in Toronto, Canada. They will be playing some Danjam Orchestra classics and premiering two arrangements of Alex's Dean's original tunes that I have just completed.
